本课程介绍两种互补的实验研究方法:量纲分析法和实验设计法。量纲分析主要依赖于确定无量纲的量(即π定理)以及物理方程或量纲方程。剩下的实验部分即可趋于简单,只需要一种较优的实验研究方法。本课程将讲述因子或分形实验设计方法、混合设计方法并介绍优化设计的优化准则。

This course presents two complementary methodologies for experimental studies: dimensional analysis and design of experiments. Dimensional analysis relies on the determination of non-dimensional numbers (also called pi-terms) based either on physical equations or on dimensional equations. The remaining experimental space can therefore been studied more easily, but this requires its exploration with a methodology: how many experiments? which experiments? how many repetitions? how to model the data? is this model fitting the data correctly? is it significant with respect to the experimental noise? These are some of the questions studied in the design of experiments methodology. We will include factorial and fractional designs, composite designs and introduce optimality criteria to design optimal designs.
