To introduce the progress and trend in frontiers of materials processing engineering. Focused on the subject of light-weight materials joining, following contents are mainly lectured: the common scientific issues faced in light-weight materials joining; joint interface behaviors; new mechanisms and processes of light-weight/dissimilar materials joining under multi-physical fields, etc.
