全面系统地介绍了金属材料、无机非金属材料、高分子材料以及近年来新兴的复合材料、功能材料腐蚀的概念与特征、腐蚀机理、影响因素以及防护方法，特别是在以往教材的基础上增加了核工业材料、信息材料、生物医用材料和纳米材料新应用。
