中文课程简介

本课程以提升学生学术素养、增强学生运用英语进行专业和学术交流的能力为目的，在发展学生通用英语语言能力的基础上，满足学生参与国际学术交流的需要，培养学生的学术创新与批判能力。本课程采用“学术英语+专业实践”模式，通过参与式学习和合作学习，帮助学生提高在学术领域用英语进行交流的能力。以应用语言学的语类理论为指导，要求学生结合自己的专业选取文献，完成阅读、概述、综述、学术报告、展示等课程作业。

英文课程简介

This course aims to enhance students ’academic competency and the ability to use English for professional and academic communication. Based on the development of general English language ability, the course is designed to meet students’ needs to participate in international academic communication and cultivate their academic innovation and critical thinking ability. It employs a mode of combining academic English and professional practice to help students improve their communicative ability in academic contexts by means of participatory and cooperative learning. With the guidance of genre theory in Applied Linguistics, students are required to complete the reading, review and summary of the literature of their subject area, and the writing and oral presentation of research report.
