美国对“中国的一带一路”倡议的大多数分析都是在强权政治方面进行的，一个国家的崛起必然意味着其他国家的衰落。 很少有分析师研究其经济发展的潜力，更少的人仍然会详细了解当地的情况。 本课程将研究基础设施投资（无论提供者）是否能够促进经济发展并实现承诺的“双赢”结果的机制。 该课程将采用原始计划中包含的64个国家的全部范例。

Most of the American analysis of China’s Belt and Road Initiative is conducted in terms of power politics whereby the rise of one country must mean the decline of others. Very few analysists examine its potential for economic development, and fewer still look in detail at what is happening on the ground. This course will examine the mechanisms by which infrastructural investment (regardless of the provider) can contribute to economic development and deliver the ‘win-win’ outcome that are promised. The course will take examples from the entire range of 64 countries included in the original program.
