云计算平台的建模和分析

本课程结合队列论和网络队列模型Queueing Network Models (QNMs),讲授云计算平台中虚拟机的建模、评价以及性能预测。Kouvatsos教授将介绍云计算平台的资源虚拟化以及OpenStack框架,以及框架的扩展应用。课程还将讲授网络队列模型中的节点的瓶颈问题,剖析其根本原因。此外,课程将对含有加密和串行计算机网络进行建模,以及分析网络安全控制模型。


英文课程简介

The lectures will be based on basic queueing theory and stable Queueing Network Models (QNMs). The latter constitute robust quantitative tools for the modelling, evaluation and prediction of the Quality-of-Service (QoS) for the provision of virtual machines (VMs) in Cloud Computing Platforms (CCPs). A targeted review will explore the technology behind the success of CCPs with resource virtualisation and OpenStack Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The conceptual steps of the detailed messaging flow will follow for VM instance provision in OpenStack. Finally, the modelling and analysis of performance and security trade-offs of a node of a computer network consisting of two encryption and transmission queueing stations in tandem and a security detection control model.
