中文课程简介

可持续发展是科学发展观的基本要求之一，是经济持续稳定健康发展的必由之路。本课程的基本理念是：普及节能知识、形成节能理念、指导节能行为。本课程的目的是：开拓学生的国际视野，提高学生对可持续发展的认识，使学生从国际视野去思考可持续发展。课程主要围绕能源开发与利用（特别是新能源，如地热能和太阳能的开发与利用）、节能减排、环境保护等相关内容，以授课结合系列前沿讲座为形式，讲授新能源技术研究的国际前沿与未来发展方向。课程采用英语授课，主要针对能源与环境系统工程专业，部分能源与动力工程专业及暑期学校报名学生，通过对全球能源开发与利用现状的分析、新能源资源介绍、新能源利用形式、新能源在国际利用现状与未来发展方向的讲授，培养学生的节能创新思想、节能创新意识和节能创新方法，增强学生的环保意识。

英文课程简介

Sustainable development is one of the key aspects of scientific development. It is the only route which must be passed in the process of sustainable, stable and healthy development. This summer course aims to provide an introduction to Energy Saving to undergraduate students. The objectives of this course are to introduce basic knowledge of energy, to discover the relationship between energy conservation and environmental change, environmental pollution and social development. Besides, the course introduces high-tech technologies of energy conservation being used overseas, and helps students understanding the energy-saving policies. The chief task of this course is to improve energy saving consciousness and therefore, to motivate energy-saving innovations. The language of this course is English. The potential audiences are students from Energy and Environmental Systems Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering and other fields.
