中文课程简介

这门短期课程将介绍语言测试研究与实践中的基本概念与方向。该课的主要目标是让学生掌握语言测试的核心概念与原理，并运用这些知识理解分析当下国内外语言测试研究与实践的潮流方向。为了达到这个目标，本课程将由一系列具体话题的讲座组成。

学生在这门课中将阅读并讨论学术杂志中的文章，同时也将学习运用不同的统计和测量软件来分析真实或模拟的语言测试数据。

英文课程简介

This short seminar course surveys the fundamental issues andcurrent trends in language testing research and practice. The objective of this course is to equipstudentswith the core concepts and principles of language testing and the ability to applytheminunderstandingthecurrent trends in language testing research and practice in both local and global contexts.To achieve this objective, students in this seminar will attend a series of lectures on the following topics:

• Foundational concepts and principles

• Research methods in language testing

• Testing practice in the society

• Current trends in language testing research and practice

As to assignments, students will read and discuss journalarticlesand learn to use several statistics and measurement tools to analyze real and simulated language testing data on selected topics.
