非饱和土力学

中文课程简介

非饱和土在岩土工程施工(道路、隧道、堤坝、边坡等)和环境岩土工程(核废料及一般废料处理、CO2储存等)中起到重要作用。当土中有超过一种流体存在时,液面张力和流体压力差作用下土体产生内部应力从而极大影响其总体力学性质。本课程将介绍非饱和土力学的基本理论概念、非饱和土实验技术、不同的非饱和土本构模型、以及非饱和土力学的相关应用(堤坝开裂、核废料存储、非饱和边坡等)。


英文课程简介

Unsaturated soil plays a major role in the behavior of geotechnical constructions (road, tunnel, embankment, slope, …) and geoenvironmental engineering applications (nuclear and domestic waste storage, CO2 sequestration…). When more than one fluid phase coexist in the void space of the materials, surface tensions and differential pressures of fluids induces internal stresses in the materials that strongly affects its global mechanical responses. The proposed course will introduce the theoretical concepts of unsaturated soil mechanics, experimental techniques for unsaturated soil characterization, different constitutive modelling approaches, and engineering applications of unsaturated soil mechanics (desiccation cracking of embankment dikes, the role of unsaturated soils in nuclear waste storage and unsaturated slope stability will be addressed).
