中文课程简介

该课程在心理学的基础上探讨基本的旅游行为学概念以及在旅游实践中的应用和理解，包括决策行为以及对这些决策行为的影响因素。本课程的目的在于理解质性研究的基本概念及理论，以及研究酒店及旅游相关问题的质性研究。本课程将帮助学生了解质性研究的过程、理论背景、应用、以及质性研究中常见的数据收集及处理方法，并将质性研究运用到实践研究当中。

英文课程简介

This course discusses key concepts of tourist behaviour based on socio-psychological theories. It helps students develop an understanding of decision making process and factors influencing their behaviour in tourism. The purpose of this subject is to understand the key concepts and issues underlying qualitative approaches to research, especially in addressing tourism or hospitality related problems.  Students are expected to be able to use various qualitative research methods in a practical research context.  The subject will provide students with an in-depth understanding, application and critique of qualitative research methodology as well as equip them with the skills needed to conduct and to evaluate high level consultancy.
